The options are unlimited with 70 built-in sewing stitches

Brother CS7000I vs CS7000X This is an excellent machine for a novice. I've been sewing for at least 60 years and have owned machines costing up to $2,000, and this is by far the best. I'm a firm believer in reading the instructions first, and I strongly advise you to do so. You should be able to comfortably grow into this machine and have no regrets about your purchase. I like the idea of being able to sew without using a presser foot yet still manage your stitches from the front of the machine. I like being able to see when the bobbin is running low, and I can even do some decorative stitches for you. It's quiet, enjoyable, and light enough to transport to lessons or in my motorhome. I can't stress enough how much I adore this machine; it's all I could possibly want. Please read the instruction manual. Any other usage or sale of this device nullifies the warranty because it is only designed for sale in the US at 120 volts.
