Summer Infant 3D Lite vs Mini This is an excellent question, and one for which I've struggled to come up with an answer. I just purchased this Mini to replace my inexpensive Cosco umbrella stroller from Target and Wal-Mart. I haven't tested the Lite, but based on the listing, the primary changes seem to be: 1) The mechanism for folding. The Mini folds similarly to the standard Cosco, with a metal bar in the centre that hinges. The Lite looks to feature a more elaborate mechanism, featuring a footstep and a pull lever. 2) Mechanism for recline. The Mini reclines by pulling a strap that tightens behind the cloth at the seat's top. It's that easy. The Lite looks to feature two red buttons on each side that lift and drop the seatback into three different configurations. It seems to be a little more difficult, but it may possibly run more smoothly? At the very least, it would add to the price differential. 3) Has a built-in carrying strap. There isn't one on Mini. The Lite is one of them. 4) Holders for cups Two are in a length of cloth that runs between the handles on the mini. There is just one in the Lite. 5) The basket The basket of the Mini seems to be a little smaller and contains less than the Lite.
